Wight Balance Photography meets at 7:30pm every Wednesday in the Riverside Centre, Newport quay. At just 2 and half years young the club and its members have achieved notable competition success including ‘all island image of the year 2009-2010', winners of 'The Inter-Club Digital Projected Images Competition 2010’, 'The Hasselblad Inter-club Trophy 2009’ and second place in 'The Jessops Cup 2010'.

 Members come from all walks of life and have varying levels of photographic experience from novice to Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society, or LRPS.

 We meet 42 weeks of the year between September and July but not every week is spent indoors at the Riverside centre, some weeks we meet at a designated area on the island for location shoots.

 There is also the opportunity to experience the photographic studio environment with back drops and remote flash photography. This is available to members only and as an organized group meeting.

 * Parking. Please be aware that the Riverside Centre requires you to sign your vehicle in at reception if you wish to use their free car park. It is only a matter of stating what group you are there to visit and what your vehicle registration number is, but failure to do so risks having your vehicle clamped.
